Our specialty manufacturing wood shop, staffed by master woodworkers, provides Hillside Homes the in-house capability to produce custom woodwork or molding, built-in cabinetry and one-of-a-kind architectural features, making your home a true expression of your own design tastes.

While we strive to replicate the quality and character of old world homes, the need for innovative modern technology is always considered. We offer an extensive line of technological options such as structured wiring, heat recovery ventilation systems, steam showers and more. In 1994 we introduced the concept of the "healthy house" in the lower Hudson Valley. To maintain interior air quality and promote energy efficiency, our homes incorporate a Controlled Living Environment© system (CLE) to reduce air infiltration and stabilize humidity. The efficiency of the heating, ventilating and cooling system we install is significantly enhanced by a tightly sealed home. In our homes with CLE, we use a low velocity, low temperature long cycle heating system that removes the uncomfortable temperature fluctuations found in conventional systems. The end result is a healthy, comfortable indoor environment.
