At Hillside Communities we believe in working with local residents to develop a plan that neighbors can support with enthusiasm. To accomplish this, we need input from area residents in fine-tuning a plan for the revitalization of the Wallkill Hamlet Center, which combined with the other town-initiated projects in the immediate area, will enhance home values, provide needed tax revenues, and restore the spirit of community and economic vitality in the Hamlet.
We will implement a series of open, "town-meeting-style" presentations and discussion sessions with residents over the next several months to exchange ideas as well as to keep residents fully informed and involved as the project moves forward. We will post meeting/presentation schedules here on this "Community Forum" page, so please re-visit from time to time for updated dates and locations. Additionally, we plan to issue meeting alerts by direct mail to Hamlet homeowners as each session is scheduled.
Together we can create a "community-built community."
